The "lo and be home" ep is the latest release from Singer/Songwriter/Producer Kenny Allen, whose recent return to Washington, DC after a decade and a half residency in Ethiopia sparked the interest of his long time collaborator Wes Felton. Having contributed to countless projects of over the years as a producer/engineer, "lo and be home" sees the two in a role reversal as Felton curated 5 lofi/downtempo canvases for Allen to paint soulsonic pictures of a return to roots in full circle. The ep packages themes of detachment, reunion, spirituality, and love lost into a concise 14 minute presentation. The ep is the first in a series on the Art! Hurts label founded and creatively directed by interdisciplinary artist Wes Felton
