moving at the speed of life
wishing i could be still
find it hard to sleep at night
counting blocks on the ceil’

torn between two worlds
i rest to see the daylight
can’t wait till the morning comes
to bask in the sunshine

if i coulda done it twice
i’d do it all again

and the addition of a few amends

never in my wildest dreams
could i have imagined this
remember when i was a child

time travels
sometimes fast, sometimes slow
steady flowing
but where it goes
nobody knows

a dimension
not a force

waiting for a breakthrough

but still so far to go
